Kawasaki is a three phases disease. Typical symptoms appeared in acute phase and lead to diagnostic. Cardiac abnormalities are present at the beginning of subacute phase and cardiac ultrasound may help to difficult diagnosis. Any way, ultrasound have to be performed to obtain a base-line status; and repeated at the end of the convalescent phase to differentiate transient from fixed lesions and so determinate the appropriate follow-up.
